In a Paris that resets like a goldfish’s memory, where streets rearrange and people forget every night, a melancholic psychiatrist haunted by visions and her enigmatic patient, obsessed with “the exit” and tied to a string of mysterious disappearances, spiral into shared psychosis, hallucinations and a dangerous mutual attraction, until they discover their ever‑shifting city is a coma simulation, and that the only way out is to remember each other when the whole world forgets.

One year after her death, as Eve's data is compiled, an Artificial Intelligence emerges: complete with her voice, her face, her temperament, and her memories.
She is there, across their screens, ready to interact with her childhood friends who are struggling to overcome her loss.
Eva, Eve's unexpected digital recreation, will upend their emotions and confront them with the limits of grief, memory, and friendship.

Cheese & Bacon is an independent production company based in Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France, founded in 2023. We produce feature films and TV series with a focus on emotional, human stories, driven by deep, memorable characters and a clear international ambition. After two multi-award-winning short films on the international festival circuit, we are now developing our first features and series.
