Cheese & Bacon is an independent film and TV production company created in 2023 and based in Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France. We develop and produce feature films and TV series, with a strong focus on debut features and fresh, emerging voices.

Our editorial line: intimate, captivating and emotionally charged stories – sharp, moving, funny and profound. We are drawn to humanist storytelling that explores relationships, choices, flaws and desires, across tones ranging from grounded drama to fantastic thriller. Our aim is to create cinema that is both intelligent and entertaining, that moves audiences while keeping them fully engaged.

At the heart of our projects are strong characters. Women and men who are deep, touching, funny, sometimes caustic and offbeat, always engaging and memorable. Their contradictions, vulnerabilities and sense of humor drive our point of view and bring our films to life.

Although we are based in France, we think of our projects on an international scale. We seek to tell human stories that can cross languages and borders, addressing both the festival circuit and broader audiences.

Since 2023, Cheese & Bacon has produced two short films that have already attracted significant international attention and multiple awards. Highlights include:
